Celina Texas is Growing Very Fast!

The picture at the top of this page shows a local cattle ranch just to the north west of downtown Celina. The thing to focus on is the cattle feeding station and the rows of new homes being built in the next field over. This image perfectly sums up what you see when you drive around Celina.
This is one reason Celina Tx was just named the fastest growing city in the US. Estimates from home sales data, and other sources show that Celina grew by 27% year over year.
Time will tell if Celina keeps up this massive growth. I can guarantee you that Celina will never be that sleepy small Texas town ever again.
We have help so many folks relocated to Celina its breath taking. Many of these folks attend our church, call us friends and have quickly adopted all things Texan. They love it here and never want to move. Well except for the fire ants and 100+ degree summers and the land prices.
Let's go back in time a couple of decades. I would always describe to my clients how Frisco is booming, but eventually land will become hard to find and prices will skyrocket. This will translate into higher new home prices. Then folks will move to Prosper. You see the money has always migrated north from Dallas up the DNT or Hwy 75 as prices increase.
Prosper then became the 'it' town. I sold many, many new construction homes in Prosper for over a decade. Then the land started drying up there and the money and builders headed north into tiny little Celina.
I think we should switch this around and ask, "why not"? Celina has a massive amount of undeveloped land with ponds, creeks and rolling hills. Oh and trees, don't forget the trees. Celina is actually 48 square miles, thats a massive amount of land for future development and prices are still somewhat affordable.
Without a doubt the downtown area of Celina is really becoming a hotspot. New restaurants and stores are popping up. There is an actual vibe and we even have an awesome music store cranking out hot new local artists.
If you don't live in Celina you may not realize how quickly you can get to hotspots around DFW. Here is a list of the places we travel to most often and how long it takes from downtown Celina.
Celina has some stunning new home neighborhoods with more coming every month. With out a doubt the amazing neighborhood of Mustang Lakes has set the tone. This former horse ranch is simply stunning. You will also start hearing the buzz increase about UpTown Celina and all the villages that comprise it.
